RiskSmart Accredited Consultants

Jensen Bowers Group Consultants are accredited consultants for Brisbane City Council’s Risksmart program.

Jensen Bowers Group Consultants offers a one stop shop for town planning, urban design, surveying and engineering services.

Risksmart fast tracks Council’s development assessment process. Jensen Bowers undertakes the assessment of the application and generates suitable conditions on Council’s behalf who then formulae the approval package.  This significantly reduces application time and costs and increases certainty for your project. 

An application put through Risksmart takes 5 business days to be approved by Council once the application is lodged with Council. 

Council offers a 25% discount on their application fee for Risksmart applications. 

Jensen Bowers are accredited to put the following development types through Risksmart:

- industry in an industry area
- multi-unit dwellings (six units or less)
- new houses and extensions in a Demolition Control Precinct
- single unit dwellings (six units or less)
- small extensions in a shopping centre
- subdivisions (six lots or less)
