ABI GROUP was awarded the construction of the $93 million dollar project by the Department of Justice and Attorney General and the Queensland Police Service.

The building is a five level magistrate’s court with fully integrated yet independent 24 hour operational police station, with consequent courthouse interface.

The courthouse houses the police prosecutions offices and the introduction of multipurpose magistrates court and support facilities, including a fully operational watch house. The new courthouse has been constructed on the former TAFE site in Ellenborough Street and includes 13 District and Magistrates Courts.

Jensen Bowers Group provided surveying services from initial conception of the proejct and provided information for preliminary planning and design purposes to building setout services during the construction of the project.
