Isles of Newport, Kippa Ring

Following the $67 million purchase of 143ha development site north of Brisbane, Stockland engaged JB to carry out surveying services on the site. The recently acquired Isles of Newport project has provided our surveyors with an opportunity to carry out hydrographic services in a non-traditional way. Utilising the Hydrone, which combines an RTK positional receiver and sonar on a remote controlled vessel, we were able to map the bottom of the existing lakes and drainage canals.
