Aurizon Site – UAV LiDAR Survey

Redbank Motorway Estate is an industrial development located east of Ipswich. Goodman engaged Jensen Bowers to undertake a detail survey and cadastral reinstatement for the reconfiguration of multiple customer driven industrial lots.

A lower level aerial (UAV) LiDAR (70m) was used to capture a full colour point cloud of a large site and its surrounding areas. The data captured from this was ground surveyed to confirm accuracy and vegetation penetration, and a 3d terrain model was exported. This data was used for undertaking a detail engineering design.

By using low level LiDAR Jensen Bowers were able to accelerate the delivery program and pass on the cost savings to the developer.
