Centenary Highway Site – UAV LiDAR Survey

WMI engaged Jensen Bowers to undertake the planning and surveying for the transformation of this industrial site including special Industry facilities. The project has been staged with survey required for each area as it is developed.

A lower level aerial (UAV) LiDAR (70m) was used to capture a full colour point cloud of a large site and its surrounding areas. The data captured from this was ground surveyed to confirm accuracy and vegetation penetration, and a 3d terrain model was exported. This data was used for undertaking a detail engineering design.

By using low level LiDAR Jensen Bowers were able to accelerate the delivery program and pass on the cost savings to the developer.
