PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Bechtel, contracted by QGC, are constructing the Liquid natural Gas (LNG) facility on Curtis Island, Gladstone. This facility will process the Coal Seam Gas extracted from the Surat Basin and convert it to LNG for transportation by ships for worldwide distribution.

Jensen Bowers group were engaged to survey the Curtis Island Marshalling Yard for statutory planning and engineering design purposes. The marshalling yard, located on the Mt Larcom – Gladstone Road, Aldoga is used for the delivery, storage and fabrication of equipment and plant for the Curtis Island LNG facility.

Accurate data, detailed plans and comprehensive reports were delivered on time and within budget while maintaining a safe and harmonious work environment using cost and time effective surveying solutions.
