Jensen Bowers is proud to be part of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Overlay Team providing professional consultancy services to assist in the fit-out and commissioning of the various venues required for the April 2018 Commonwealth Games.
As the selected principal surveyors, Jensen Bowers Group are completing the Dilapidation Surveys, Dilapidation Reports, and Feature Setout of the various venues. Venues include the Commonwealth Games Village located on Smith Street, Southport.
Traditional and innovative reality capture technology is being utilised to complete the project. The dilapidation survey includes the observation of existing faults, damage and the current condition of the various venues, as accepted by the client, prior to the fit-out and commissioning of the venues by the overlay team.
The dilapidation surveys completed are independent precautionary measures conducted by Jensen Bowers (registered surveyors) to provide evidence to counter future fraudulent claims, liabilities and actions.
Observations are made to the subject and surrounding buildings, footpaths, car parks, hard stand areas, roads, internal cold shell tenancies, service infrastructure, landscaping and other miscellaneous features.
Technology utilised to capture the features includes: high resolution cameras and video devices, UAV Drone (Aerial Photography) and 3D High Definition Cloud Scanners.
