Green Square

In the heart of Fortitude Valley, Green Square is a recently completed precinct which accommodates commercial office buildings, ground level cafes/restaurants and a large Brisbane City Council office. Road widening and traffic signalling on the intersection of King Street and St Pauls Terrace were designed to accommodate the large amounts of vehicles and pedestrians accessing the area and surrounds.

Terrestrial laser scanning was used to capture the buildings and adjoining areas to create a full colour/textured 3D model of the existing site. This was used by the design team to meet the tight construction tolerances for footpath grades and the interface with existing building staircases and overhangs.
